About ReConnectEd to Life

reconnectedlogo.png

ReConnectEd to Life is changing the perception of what it means to Be Self-Centered ™. Long regarded as a term denoting selfishness or having complete disregard for others, it has unfairly earned a bad reputation.

Being "Self-Centered" is actually a positive quality achieved by making our own health and well-being a priority above ANYTHING and EVERYONE else.  Consistently practicing The Four Seeds of Self-Care ™ will strengthen our innate abilities to accomplish personal goals, foster more meaningful relationships, and reconnect with our community.

In a world where we are bombarded with distractions that leave us depleted both physically and energetically, we are offering the tools to reverse this degenerative process and create a blueprint that facilitates optimal living.

Rachel Hart
Founder / Life Coach

I know because I know. Not because I know better. This has been my mantra throughout the process of deciding why to launch this business. As a survivor of an alcoholic mother, I have spent my life attempting to undo the traumatic ramifications that were imposed on me without my consent. As a survivor of domestic violence, I have had to retrain my mind, body, and spirit to give and receive love in healthy ways. As a mother of six children with six completely unique personalities and needs, I have had to learn that parenting from the standpoint of the fear of not becoming my mother is never a good idea. That breeds perfectionism, insecurity, and unhappiness.  And guess what? I am healing!  I grow stronger everyday, through the understanding that The Four Seeds of Self-Care are not luxuries, but necessities, in order to create the life I want to live.

I have worked in the field of women’s health as a midwife and life coach for a combined total of twelve years, and have come to know my own gifts of healing and motivating people through my work, as well as through my own journey of self-care. I look forward to connecting with you, learning from you, and coaching you. We are all in this crazy life together. We might as well do all we can to support one another instead of tearing each other down. It makes for healthier humans, relationships, and communities.
